Looking Ahead to Next Week:

MONDAY: NO SCHOOL

(MEMORIAL DAY)

Please send a backpack everyday with your child!

TUESDAY: EARLY OUT

WEDNESDAY: FIELD DAY

Kids will still be in school uniform

They will also need to be sure to have a water bottle with their name on it. We will also be eating lunch in the classroom that day. Hopefully you have already filled out the form for that!

THURSDAY: EARLY OUT

FRIDAY: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL/EARLY OUT

May 12th - 16th

 We are going to have lunch in our classroom on FIELD DAY so I am going to need everyone to fill out this form - even if your child will be bringing lunch from home!  LUNCH FORM

IN CASE YOU DIDN'T SEE THIS POST FROM LAST WEEK:

We are going to have a fun morning with the Ogden Nature Center.  They are coming to our school to talk to our 1st graders.  They will have things for the kids to explore and have asked that we have a parent at each display to help the kids.  This will be May 21st from 9:30 - 10:30 and I would love to have 3 volunteers for that.  

The next date I will need volunteer help will be May 28th from 9:45 - 10:45 for Field Day.  This will just be helping and keeping the kids safe on the bouncy houses!!

Our week of testing was awesome!! 

I hope you have enjoyed watching your child become such fluent reader this year!  I am so proud of each and everyone of them for the growth they have made!!  We still have a month left of 1st grade and we will continue to work hard!!
